Path to Justice
Governor Mark Dayton appointed Judge Vuelo to the Ramsey County District Court in December 2017, and she was subsequently elected in 2020. Her current term extends through January 2027. Prior to her judgeship, Judge Vuelo cultivated a distinguished legal background. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from Hamline University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota.
Judge Vuelo’s legal career reflects a well-rounded understanding of the justice system. She has served as a solo practitioner at Vuelo Law, a special assistant Ramsey County Attorney, an assistant public defender, and an assistant city attorney. This diverse experience allows her to approach cases with a comprehensive perspective centered on promoting justice.
Shaping the Legal Landscape
Beyond the courtroom, Judge Vuelo actively contributes to the legal community. She holds memberships in the Minnesota District Court Judges Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and the Ramsey County Bar Association. Her dedication goes beyond membership as she currently serves as the Ramsey County Bar Association Representative to the Minnesota State Bar Association Assembly.

Judge Vuelo’s commitment extends far beyond legal practice. Judge Vuelo:

- is a dedicated public servant and former member of the Saint Paul-Ramsey County Community Health Services Advisory Committee
